This third issue of the “Diario” series has brought me personally much joy. In a particularly delicate and anxious period, the numerous exchanges with humble and brilliant people in Switzerland and in India have brought a warm wind, full of colours and passions for architecture for people and by people’s work, respectful of our earth.
Once again, cultural exchange, where Switzerland is a unique platform, is a story that unites us all and from which we must draw strength to build the world of today and tomorrow – while respecting the work of the past, which is unfortunately on hold or has already been destroyed in a number of projects.
A special thanks to Mita Krafft-Gloria, who has passed on to me her passion for architecture, art and travel. Always with an open, humanistic mind, avoiding preconceived ideas and stereotypes. Mita inspired me with a passion for India, which she knew well.
This issue is for her and for the 50 years of AS history we share together.
Here’s to the future.
